When I was pregnant last year, I wondered if I would have the boy before Halloween so I could get the red sweatsuit that says "Little Devil" (complete with horns on the hood and pointed tail on the butt.) As the boy arrived on 1 November, I had to shelve the idea of getting that outfit.

As the boy is a giraffe for Halloween this year, it was a given that we would head out to the zoo for a photo op. Except naptime meant that we got out there late and the giraffe were queued up at the gate ready to go in for the evening.
